I have a question, flying a Mob 8 analog ERLS version, using a Radiomaster TX16s, with a Happy Model ES24TX module I can go maybe 100 yards before I lose video/connection with the drone. I am using the stock antenna for the module and the drone. Would you mind sharing your radio and drone settings cause if I go around a house or small building or behind some trees I no longer can see the video and or control the drone, thanks.

Drones are this generations firearms. People use them for hobby and dont hurt anyone just fine but still plenty of others are scared of them because they can hurt people if used wrong. Cars are far more lethal in everyday life but more people use them so they are used to them and less scared. Guns used to be more common and thus less scary to the laymen too.

The legitimacy of your review took a hit with “I didn’t read the instructions”. You couldn’t find the arm switch? Really? I’m a noob and I had no troubles with that but guess what? I read the instructions! I’m trying out a Cetus X right now and I do have an issue with it but none of the ones you mentioned. The video connects fine. Even as a noob I know about the typical quality of analog. Also, if it is blurry because of your vision problems that’s not a design flaw! The version I have does work with Betaflight for what its worth but you kinda missed the point: Beginners don’t want to have to use an application like that just to get started. THAT would have been a legitimate criticism. I was hoping this review would give me some insight into the problem I’m having but instead it wasted my time.

I'm just now trying to get my first quad and my problem with DJI is that goggles 3 doesn't support o3 and older models are just that, older So I'm in the position that i can't get the latest goggles witg O3, and don't want to buy the older ones And besides, if i get 2 quads with analog, i can put the money saved towards buying an action camera

I don't know if anyone can read this because YT has a tendency to restrict people's views. Especially the little man (so to speak) But DJi are ripping off thousands of there customer's with these Goggles saying they are unable to manufacture them completely free from dead pixels. I have just had probably the most stressful time with them for years. This stress probably cost me my job. But 6 weeks arguing about these dead pixels in there Goggles free and me saying that if that issue was clearly advertised then I would know what I was buying. Three set's of Goggles returned with promise that the issue was fixed and every time dead pixels in different places. Buy at your own risk and if you're vision is bad,, I mean mine isn't the best but there is no missing these black dots (dead pixels) in the Goggles 3!

Cool vid! I'm looking to take the leap from analog to digital, for casual outdoor FPV cruising with mild aerobatics. Would you recommend this one ($160 BYOvtx + ~$230 O3 air unit looks like a better deal than the $470 "full" version?) or something else? A little "sluggishness" probably isn't such a bad thing since I don't have anything really racey to compare it to. thanks for your input! cheers

Never understood why you would want to fly in angle mode unless you’re flying LOS. Angle mode has nothing to do with cinematic. You fly cinematic or you don’t, 5 inch or cinewhoop

I've been saying they should carry an analog screen and just scan the bands and channels all the time so they can at least see what the enemy drone is seeing. That way you know where it is, where it's heading, etc. Both sides are using countermeasures and jamming frequencies. I watched a video where an FPV pilot lost 3 or 4 drones before he finally got one through the countermeasures to hit his target. A small FPV team headed out to the battlefield with 80 drones for their mission. They stayed until all 80 drones were either lost or blown up from hitting their targets.

Again, the drone that does not have Betaflight is horrible. Even a beginner has to start playing or repairing the quad. Not having Betaflight as a standard sucks. Happy to hear that BetaFPV is willing to talk and possibly change the package to make it a much better package.

As a Kiwi who has visited Aus a lot, I dont think people outside Australasia that will understand the fact that everywhere in that bush area there is something trying to kill or eat you, and Steve would be the sacrifice needed for drone recovery.

Bro, can you remake a video about the 3D-Perspective dual-camera-fpv (depth perception)? I watched your old video & it was amazing.

I've been out of keeping up to date with all of the UA-cam channels for the past two years. I remember congratulating you and giving Dad advice on one of your videos way back when. Love to see you're bringing in the fam on the channel. My kiddo was 4 when you had your little one. Now my kiddo is 7, and has just started to fly in the sims and will be flying his first whoop this weekend. (he had proved himself on the sim, he liked to be silly at first and just smash into walls, then I turned off god mode and put on a timer every time he crashed, he would have to wait before he could fly again). It just keeps getting more fun as time goes on.
